We are thrilled to announce that the film will be premiering in Los Angeles at Allison and Tiffany Anders’ Don’t Knock the Rock Festival at the Los Feliz 3, Sunday May 26th at 4pm.

 

Los Angeles played a big role in Dory’s career. It’s where she was fatefully paired with wunderkind composer Andre Previn at MGM and went on to write lyrics to his best known Hollywood songs like the Theme from Valley of the Dolls. It’s where she was institutionalized at the Culver City mental hospital, which had a straight-shot view of the MGM sign. It’s where she lived up in the hills and wrote and recorded seven solo albums.
